They pursued them. However one of them escaped while the other turned into a goat," Kwara state police spokesman Tunde Mohammed told Reuters by telephone.<br /><br />"We cannot confirm the story, but the goat is in our custody. We cannot base our information on something mystical. It is something that has to be proved scientifically, that a human being turned into a goat," he said.<div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>http://able2know.org/topic/128504-1<br /></div>south_side_jedihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00372804162659009185noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8148741766387709066.post-8487165208112976212008-12-04T13:00:00.000-08:002008-12-04T13:09:13.245-08:00Christmas Free Write.Over the years <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Christmas</span> has somewhat become more about making our house look good and decorating than actually spending time together. Use to <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">Christmas</span> was a huge thing, waking up knowing that we had presents and running into the living room tearing up the first package you saw with your name on it then having to deal with the torture of not being able to play with whatever you got till it was all picked up, I miss that. Now its wait for everyone to get situated, pass out the presents, take turns opening, and then just go our separate ways and do our own thing. I must say, I <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">definitely miss being a kid at times. </span> south_side_jedihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00372804162659009185noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8148741766387709066.post-35549295389513918562008-11-07T12:07:00.000-08:002008-11-07T12:34:37.985-08:00HHmmm....Well I'm not exactly sure what I should "blog" about so I'll just tell a little about myself and my friends. Well as you already know my name is Dylan. I was born in Amarillo Texas, but grew up in West Monroe, Louisiana. After my dad hurt his back and I became sick we moved back here, which is where my dad is originally from. At first I wasn't too excited about it, but I have gained a lot from living here, good and bad. I've still always isolated myself for reasons even unknown to me. There are only a few people I actually "open" up to. As most people have already noticed Patrick is probably my best friend. He's like a brother to me. Of course there is Jorde who literally is my brother, he has really helped me through a lot. Another person who I haven't even known for very long would have to be Stormy. We only get along at times, but for some reason she still means a lot to me. Well those are my friends, well the main ones. <div>Some of my "hobbies" are of course being with friends, listening to music, writing, one thing I've always loved doing is studying, people that is. Seeing how they react to things, how they act alone, how they change as they get around different people. I even study my own actions most of the time. Well there is more that could be said but I'll leave that for some other time.</div>south_side_jedihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00372804162659009185noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8148741766387709066.post-60090682550095068862008-10-29T12:58:00.000-07:002008-10-29T13:04:03.915-07:00Halloween.....I don't think its right that they punish ALL the students for the actions of one kid. Maybe if a bunch of kids had taken part in it , but not because just one kid wants attention and is purposely trying to cause trouble among the school. If its "distractions" DOE is concerned about then as a student I can say that anger or annoyance of school things is far more distracting than having fun with some friends.south_side_jedihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00372804162659009185noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8148741766387709066.post-74341827262050295252008-10-27T12:27:00.000-07:002008-10-27T12:37:18.247-07:00Invisibility.... Being invisible would be pretty fascinating. Knowing you could go anywhere or do anything without being seen would be the best. Sneaking around every where, scaring people, making things "float", the possibilities are endless. I personally would probably scare my little brother and sister before doing anything. After all, I AM there big brother. After that I'd probably aimlessly wonder around town finding people to scare things to do. Most likely sneak out every once and a while to see my friends. So as I said before, there are many advantages to being invisible. I suppose the only way it would be a disadvantage would be that you couldn't turn visible again. south_side_jedihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00372804162659009185noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8148741766387709066.post-63759212405490598172008-10-22T12:27:00.000-07:002008-10-22T12:58:38.628-07:00Memories...One of my best memories would probably be when Patrick, Jorde, and I went and spent a weekend in Altus/Mangum. We pretty much ran around trying to find things to do and goofed around the whole time. We chilled at Hastings, Walmart, and where ever else we could go. We met alot of people while we were there and ended up hanging out with them the whole time we were there. They invited us to a rodeo which turned out to be pretty boring. So after all that we went and got a hotel and had to sneak Patrick in seeing as how we didn't have the money for a three guest room. The next day we drove around a bit, hung out with friends and just did random things and for some reason ended up staying in Walmart all night because we didn't have the money for the hotel and didn't want to leave yet. We left at 7 the next morning though. It was one of the best times I had all summer. south_side_jedihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00372804162659009185noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8148741766387709066.post-88043175054066857372008-10-15T12:39:00.000-07:002008-10-15T12:46:25.637-07:00New Traditions.Personally I'm not too concerned about the bonfire situation. Only because I'm not too bog on school spirit and what not. I could see how others would though. After having something like this go on for so long and then just having it dropped could be hard. And having a small parade instead of that is somewhat disappointing. Only because not much effort is being out into this. We have the kids of the high school making the floats which means the city doesn't really care that much and its nothing to be remembered. Most of the seniors this year are really good people and deserve to have something. I honestly think they should have had the last say in it. Its their final year and besides, they are very creative most of the time. south_side_jedihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00372804162659009185noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8148741766387709066.post-62114294111612661362008-10-14T12:30:00.000-07:002008-10-14T13:06:39.308-07:00I Wish...I wish there was a law in cities that forced the cities to have some sort of activity for teens. This law would be good because it could keep teens from doing things that would be considered against the law. Such as smoking, drinking, drugs, and other illegal activities. <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Childress</span> has some things, such a the park and a skating rink but teenagers get bored with the same things we did as children. We need something like a bowling alley or a large arcade, just a place where we can hang out and be ourselves and keep us occupied. As I said before though. This should go for all cities, not just <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">Childress</span>.south_side_jedihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00372804162659009185noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8148741766387709066.post-44635061987695184242008-09-18T12:30:00.000-07:002008-09-18T12:35:59.466-07:00Beauty vs. WealthI suppose i would rather look good than be wealthy because I like working for what I want.<div>Both have their benefits. Being "handsome" can make you feel more comfortable about yourself, help you look more formal, and possibly give you a better chance at finding a girl friend or boy friend. Money just makes getting things easier though you could be known for you generosity if you use it in in a generous way. There are a lot of aspects to look at here, but I think I would go with looks over wealth. </div>south_side_jedihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00372804162659009185noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8148741766387709066.post-82281703997260755942008-09-15T12:43:00.000-07:002008-09-15T12:52:46.746-07:00Journal 3In ten years I plan on being back in Louisiana with my own apartment or house. I hope to have a decent job and I might even be in college. I really don't know.<div>I hope to have found a good girl by then and maybe even married and <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">whether</span> I have kids or not depends on my current career an how healthy my relationship is. The next ten years is going to hold a lot of changes for me. One of the other teachers, Ms. Stewart, came in and told my teacher to turn on the t.v. to the news channel. As she did I just remember Mrs. Shilet and Ms. Stewart breaking into tears. The kids however had no idea what was going on and thought it was just a movie or something. Later that day the whole school had an assembly and our principal explained to us what had happened. south_side_jedihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00372804162659009185noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8148741766387709066.post-1768209515423230542008-09-10T12:31:00.000-07:002008-09-10T12:41:48.073-07:00Life -_-If I could change anything in my life it would be my past. Most of the events that happened really changed me, in a bad way. A lot of it was my fault because I let it get to me. I lost a lot of friends, because I put some one that didn't care before them an pushed them away. Hopefully things will be changed this year and I can get back the old friends.south_side_jedihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00372804162659009185noreply@blogger.com0
