Halloween.....

I don't think its right that they punish ALL the students for the actions of one kid. Maybe if a bunch of kids had taken part in it , but not because just one kid wants attention and is purposely trying to cause trouble among the school. If its "distractions" DOE is concerned about then as a student I can say that anger or annoyance of school things is far more distracting than having fun with some friends.

Invisibility....

Being invisible would be pretty fascinating. Knowing you could go anywhere or do anything without being seen would be the best. Sneaking around every where, scaring people, making things "float", the possibilities are endless. I personally would probably scare my little brother and sister before doing anything. After all, I AM there big brother. After that I'd probably aimlessly wonder around town finding people to scare things to do. Most likely sneak out every once and a while to see my friends. So as I said before, there are many advantages to being invisible. I suppose the only way it would be  a disadvantage would be that you couldn't turn visible again.

Memories...

One of my best memories would probably be when Patrick, Jorde, and I went and spent a weekend in Altus/Mangum. We pretty much ran around trying to find things to do and goofed around the whole time. We chilled at Hastings, Walmart, and where ever else we could go. We met alot of people while we were there and ended up hanging out with them the whole time we were there. They invited us to a rodeo which turned out to be pretty boring. So after all that we went and got a hotel and had to sneak Patrick in seeing as how we didn't have the money for a three guest room. The next day we drove around a bit, hung out with friends and just did random things and for some reason ended up staying in Walmart all night because we didn't have the money for the hotel and didn't want to leave yet. We left at 7 the next morning though. It was one of the best times I had all summer.

New Traditions.

Personally I'm not too concerned about the bonfire situation. Only because I'm not too bog on school spirit and what not. I could see how others would though. After having something like this go on for so long and then just having it dropped could be hard. And having a small parade instead of that is somewhat disappointing. Only because not much effort is being out into this. We have the kids of the high school making the floats which means the city doesn't really care that much and its nothing to be remembered. Most of the seniors this year are really good people and deserve to have something. I honestly think they should have had the last say in it. Its their final year and besides, they are very creative most of the time.

I Wish...

I wish there was a law in cities that forced the cities to have some sort of activity for teens. This law would be good because it could keep teens from doing things that would be considered against the law. Such as smoking, drinking, drugs, and other illegal activities. Childress has some things, such a the park and a skating rink but teenagers get bored with the same things we did as children. We need something like a bowling alley or a large arcade, just a place where we can hang out and be ourselves and keep us occupied. As I said before though. This should go for all cities, not just Childress.
